Mindful Birthing

What is Mindful Birthing?

Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting (MBCP) is an expansive, holistic approach to childbirth and parenting.

More than just a childbirth class, this class helps you learn how to train the mind and use the mind/body/heart connection to enhance your innate wisdom for birth.

Mindfulness is paying attention in each moment with curiosity, patience, non-judgment, trust and acceptance. Expectant mothers and their support person will learn skills for working with changes, fear, anxiety and pain during this transformative time of pregnancy, birth, parenting and life.

Mindful Birthing is a benefit for any birth in any setting!

What’s included in the $200 class fee?

  • Learn life changing skills to manage daily stress and anxiety.

  • Review the physiology of birth and how the mind, body, baby, and hormones all interact in labor.

  • Discover how to use the mind to work with pain.

  • Develop confidence in your innate ability to birth.

  • Develop mindful parenting skills.

  • Practice over 40 concentration, touch, positioning and movement skills to discover what might work for YOUR labor and birth.
