Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is the process in which the placenta is prepared in capsule form for consumption. Given to the mother in the weeks and following months, the placenta is believed to help promote healing and recovery.

After your birth, Kelsie picks up your placenta and processes it into capsules for your ingestion, yielding typically 100-200 capsules. Women who have encapsulated their placentas report increased milk production, more energy, and hormonal balancing.

Kelsie provides professional, safe and fast placenta encapsulation services to the Sioux Falls and surrounding area, and is willing to travel.  She is currently wrapping up training with the Association of Placenta Preparation Arts to become the first certified Placenta Arts Specialist in South Dakota.
